The company was originally formed by Joe Dreier and Pano Alafouzo, who had previously represented classic films of Paramount and Universal since 1984. Forming a partnership in 1993 with John N. Flynn, who represented the libraries of MGM, United Artists and Warner Bros., Hollywood Classics was born. The company now represents over 12,000 titles with offices in both Los Angeles and London. Hollywood Classics attends annual film and television markets including AFM, MIP TV, MIPCOM, DISCOP and the Cannes, Berlin, Rotterdam, Locarno and London Film Festivals. Hollywood Classics aims to promote greater appreciation and access to movie culture. |
