NO HIGHWAY IN THE SKY (1951)
Dir: Henry Koster. Cast: James Stewart, Marlene Dietrich, Jack Hawkins.
James Stewart stars in one of the first ever disaster films about a potential air crash. Based on the novel by Nevil Shute, this film also stars Marlene Dietrich as a glamorous passenger on the ill-fated flight.
NIGHT AND THE CITY (1992)
Dir: Irwin Winkler. Cast: Robert De Niro, Jessica Lange, Eli Wallach.
A remake of the 1952 classic film noir. De Niro plays a cheating and incompetent lawyer who suddenly gets obsessed by becoming a boxing promoter. Screenplay by Richard Price.
THE TALL MEN (1955)
Dir: Raoul Walsh. Cast: Clark Gable, Jane Russell, Robert Ryan.
A large-scale Western about a cattle drive where the characters end up fighting Sioux Indians, blizzards and finally each other.
