Johnny Come Lately

An ex-newspaper man is saved from a vagrancy jail term by the elderly editor of a failing paper. Disregarding threats from a rival newspaper owner, the two men work together to expose political corruption. Based on Louis Bromfield's novel, "McLeod's Folly."
