Pawnbroker, The

Sol, the embittered survivor of a Nazi death camp, is now a Harlem pawnbroker. He harshly condemns his clientele as the dregs of society, and ridicules his idealistic assistant, Ortiz. But when Ortiz risks his life for Sol, he learns the truth about hope and humanity.
