Last Temptation Of Christ, The

Scorsese’s magnificent, and re-imagining of the life of Christ, is based upon Schrader’s powerful adaptation of Nikos Kazantzakis’ highly controversial novel. The film explores the human side of Christ (his joy, his self-doubt and his loneliness), concluding with the final temptation while on the cross, to reject his father to live again as just a man.
